Do you play an instrument? You sound like a singer?
Wow. That was beautiful.
No, I don’t play an instrument (in public, at least). You’re right, my musical outlet is through singing. I’ve been singing in school choirs, church choirs, community choirs, chamber choirs, and the occasional vocal jazz group since I was a little kid. The group I sing in now, Vanguard Voices, just began rehearsing JS Bach’s Mass in B Minor. We will be traveling to Wilmington, North Carolina, to perform it with the Wilmington Symphony on June 22, 2008. This is one of the works on my “life list”, works I want to perform before I die, so I am really excited by this.
